problem with playing games

sometimes when i play games on my computer the program will just end and take me back to my windows desktop without an error message. the game just ends. what could be the problem? cpu overheating? driver problems maybe? help me please.

What games in particular are you talking about? You might try going to the support page for each game to see if there are issues with it and WinXP or with the ATI vid card

Do you have the SP for winXP installed?

I've had this problem with a few of my games, too. It's always been a software/driver/ O/S issue for me.
