Time Slowing Down On Clock
After I did a fresh format on my pc the clock is slow. It was not slow before I did this. I read somewhere that it was my cmos battery. Why wouldn't it be slow before the reformat and only be slow after the reformat. How do i fix this so i don't have to set my clock 5 times a day.
Thanks |

Does the clock change to proper time after a reboot? Or is it always losing time?
If the clock changes to the correct time after a reboot, then it's some program or application on your computer that's causing the time to lag. I've heard that Norton System Works can do this. If the clock is always losing time no matter what, change the motherboard battery. Cricket

Are you connecting to a network? If so, your clock may be adjusting to the time the servers have.
