win2000
hi, during win2000 installation i choose to upgrade to ntfs, are there any advantages and disadvantages of this upgrade

it is best to use that format as it will be more stable and will be disk space better used.
disavantage is that it cannot be seen (read) by another fat32 system on a network |

What?
My 98 (FAT32) box can see my NTFS partitions over the network. Filesystem has nothing to do with network shares. An NTFS partition cannot be "seen" by a FAT32 OS on the same computer. |

reboot is right. over a network, the filesystem plays no part in what can actually be seen.
