Windows XP update
When I go on the microsoft website to update Windows XP, this message comes up...
"Thank you for your interest in Windows Update Windows Update is the online extension of Windows that helps you get the most out of your computer. You must be running a Microsoft Windows operating system in order to use Windows Update." Even though I have Windows XP Professional edition installed on my computer. What is going on and how do I fix? |

Just a thought here...have you resgistered it yet?? Where did you get this copy of XP? Come with a computer you bought, or did you buy it to upgrade?
If you have registered it, try doing this. Go to the Start menu, select Programs, and then at the very top of that list you should see "Windows Update"(Make sure you have an active connection to the internet), Select Windows Update, and that should get you going. Post back and let us know how it goes
