Need help saving and backing up email and outlook information

Hello.

I had a computer crash and need some help (XP). There may be recoverable data I would like to save and also I want to be able to back stuff up in the future. All my files are save but I lost my saved emails, my email contacts, Outlook contacts, and the Outlook calender. I have purchased a 2nd harddrive for backing up - old system was zip disks (lots of zip disks). I may have the emails but they are in a text format and not easy to read - hoping for a easier way.

I would like to know where these are located so I can navigate to the location and save the files someplace else before I reload XP into the computter.

Also would like to know how to get them reentered into the proper place once I bring the system back up.

Lastly, I would like to find a good way to either ghost everything onto the other harddrive or to easily back-up these components onto the other drive. It's really a drag loosing the calandar, saved emails, and contacts.

Thank you.

Eric

I believe this shows where they are at. When you get Outlook up and running this is the best method I've found so far to keep backups. http://www.iopus.com/guides/oe-backup.htm
