Hi,
Enter your system BIOS and set boot order to CD first. If you have the full retail version of Windows XP and your CD is bootable (which it should be), there is no need for a boot floppy.
If, however, for sme reason, you cannot boot from the CD, you can get XP bootdisks from here:
www.bootdisk.com
Hope that helps,
NPP

You can delete, recreate, or leave the exisiting partition and just format it with the CD alone.

You shouldn't need a boot disk when installing XP. The CD itself is bootable.

btw, freaky avatar Iman74. Congrats on hitting the magic number!

Hiya jaxson,
Just boot off the CD and it will start the install sequence by itself. At the point where it asks what type of install you want to do (fresh install or repair), select fresh install. Then when it asks you where to install point it to the partition of your hard disk that contains XP already. You can also choose to delete your current partitions and create new ones for a totally fresh install, but backup your data first. Next, choose to format the partition in NTFS (for best results). Then just sit back and relax while the install completes.

The bootdisk from www.botdisk.com is a self-extracting archive. Just run it and have four fresh formatted 1.44 MB floppies handy. You don't really need the bootdisks if you can boot from CD, but it's always just as well to have them handy.
