Can you set a limit on the number of cookies stored in win2000?

force_flow,
You use Opera as your browser, don't you? In preferences>Privacy there is an option to "Throw away new cookies on exit". I use it and it does keep the cookies under control. Carl |

lil Jimmie,
I believe Opera has that option also. Whether it be Mozilla or Opera, I don't like the box popping up asking if I want a cookie. The only box I have pop-up, is the one stating that the site wants to load a ad cookie, Carl |

I was asking for IE because the workstations at work (55 stations in the high-useage location) get at least 300 cookies a day, which slows the machines down considerably. I know, they shouldn't work that way, but that's just what happens. As soon as I clear all the cookies, everything gest back up to speed. So, instead of having to go around and clear the cookies, I was looking for a way to limit them.
