Question Is there a list anywhere that contains

what the acronyms mean (or what programms they are) when you bring up the task manager in win98se. I am trying to check and see what is running in the background? Does any kind of deffinitive list exist?

Wow that is a good site, thanks. I even sent it to my managers to see if they want to send it out as a good tool to use for our job. I was going to suggest just type in google the *.exe that you a question about and I'm sure a hit will be there to answer the question but this is a lot better. Thanks again.

i use a program called startman,it tells what is starting up on the computer, and you can disable them.if you are not sure about a program r-click and click identify,it takes you to the program cricket posted to check if you need that at startup.
