Do You Experience This Also?

I'm a bit confused why in some PCs using Windows XP, when you place the pointer of the mouse at File, Edit, Format, etc. in the MENU BAR of a program, it creates a WHITE background instead of the usual BLUE? This happens to almost all programs including Windows Media Player. The only exception I noticed is Office XP. Is there some patch from Microsoft concerning this?

Right click the desktop and select properties, go to the appearance tab, select advanced. You can change the colors of the menu's from there. No bug just a selection that either someone or some software has chosen.

Thanks, Tuf. I think I have done that before. It was on Corel 10 software installed on WinXP Pro. It was the only one that behaved that way. I'll try it again.

This time, I'm a bit skeptic with the mobo's chipsets. They're SiS. My other builds with VIA or nVidia chips, didn't experience this. Only on SiS-based mobos. And this is the reason why I posted this thread.
