Wink SP1 and hard drive space

This morning I finally downloaded SP1. So far I think everything is OK. I also downloaded 4 critical updates. Now I have a question. It ate up about 4% of hard drive space . Is there something that I can do to regain some of it?

Set Explorer to view all files, don't hide any extentions, and show system files.
In c:\windows, delete all folders that start with a % sign.
You may not be able to uninstall any updates, but you probably don't want to anyhow.
Also delete the c:\wutemp folder.
