Question Virtual Memory Low error?

I just installed win 2000 on my compaq 8702 computer. It works fine except that I keep getting this virtual memory low option. I think I only have about 32-64 megs of memory so is this the reason?

virtual memory is....well virtual memory as its not your memory in your ram but the extra memory in case of need that is in your HDD.i only know this in XP but it should be the same . its low so we should up it.very simple
1.rightclick my computer,select properties
2. go to the advanced tab
3. under performance, click settings
4. go to the advanced tab, click change
5 increase the initial size and the maximum size(on my desktop it is 256 to 512MB)
6.click set..ok...ok...ok.thats it

How much free space do you have on your hard drive? With only 32-64MB of RAM, your system must be constantly going to the swap file (virtual memory or reserved space on the hard drive for Windows to use) and if you don't have much space, Win2000 is feeling the squeeze.

If possible, increase the amount of RAM on your system to at least 128MB and look into getting a bigger hard drive.
