"C:\Program Files\Common Files\Microsoft Shared\MSInfo\msinfo32.exe"

Try Start->Run->msinfo32.exe and see if it runds that way.

Could you be missing some DLL files or something else in that folder that does not allow the program to run? I just checked my folder and it seems to be somewhere around 10 files or so.

By the way your post sounds did you actually try and execute it from the shared folder or did you just try the link?

Run an up-to-date anti-virus scan to make sure nothing has disabled it.

John Ranger,

Have you recently installed an update from Microsoft or any new programs? If it is causing the problem, you should use your system restore options in the Control Panel and restore your system to a known good point. It's worth a shot. Let me know how it goes.
