Welcome to the PC Mech forums!
![]() Try booting into safe mode. What are the computer specs? Did you install software or hardware prior to the problem?

Are you using different monitor?
Try booting into Safe Mode and then go to Device Manager and remove the video adapter and monitor. Reboot and let Windows find the video card and install the drivers. Could be the monitor can't handle the resolution or color depth you've had the video card set at. What monitor and video card are you using? Cricket

The refresh rate may be out of range for your monitor. Boot to safe mode as suggested, go to your display properties and click on advanced, then check on adapter or monitor (can't remember which), there should be a drop down menu to set the refresh rate.... try adapter default or optimal.
Gonna bring up my hatered on VIA chipsets here too... does it happen to be a VIA chipset motherboard.
