Trouble
Hi,
I'm having trouble with Windows 98, When I turn on the computer, the backround always comes up as the plain green one, even though I have it set to another one. The icons just have the windows symbol on them, but that goes after a while. It's also PAINFULLY slow. I did have a virus (Backdoor.Trojan) but I cleared that out with NAV Professional, and I've scanned and it says there is no virus so does anyone have any idea what I could do to get it someway normal again? I don't know if this would have any effect but the computer is 6 years old. Thanks in advance |

Right click on the desktop, take the tick mark OUT of "show as web page".
If you still want the single click to launch, right click again, select properties, Appearance tab, Advanced, folder options, and the 3rd section down, you can specify "single click to open". (This is from memory, so I may not be quite right about the location). |
