cancelled due to restrictions on this computer
I just finally loaded windows 98 onto my hard drive, after trying to replace it with a 20 gig with no success. After hours of work, i am back at square one, and i am getting errors. I downloaded AIM on to my computer, and when i go to start it, it gives me an illegal operation error saying AIM caused an invalid page fault in kernel32.dll. Then another messagebox comes up saying the operation was canceled due to restrictions in effect on this computer. Any suggestions to what i should do?

I seem to be getting more invalid page faults in kernel32.dll. I just ran the uninstall for AIM and it got the error.

Well i just downloaded the older version of AIM, so i guess the version was not compatible with 98. This can be closed now.
