Laptops
Hey everybody,
Not sure if this is the place to talk about this. But anyways. Let's get down to business. In a few months maybe, I am planning on buying a laptop. The uses of my laptop will include minor gaming, heavy Internet surfing, and school work. My question is, anybody know places where I can find some good deals on some? I am also looking for a laptop where I am not limited to what I can do with the OS or the BIOS. How about DELL? I think they are too expensive, and I really don't want to spend too much on a laptop. I want it to be an AMD processor, since I love AMD, and AMD is cheaper than Intel. I want to stay away from COMPAQS, but I might have to go with Dell if it is my last choice. I really don't know anymore companies that manufacter laptops besides Compaq, Dell, and Sony. The OS that I am looking for on the laptop would be either Windows 2000 or XP. My spending limit is like $600-$900. Thanks guys! |

Thanks for the reply, Sleepypost. I'll check out Toshiba and look around computer fairs around here to see what they got.
