new drivers
when installing the 43.45 nvidia drivers is it necessary to uninstall the old drivers? and when I tried to install the new drivers a message came up saying that the drivers did not meet the windows XP logo specs, and if installed could or will cause harm to my computer. How can I handle this? thanks

No, you do not need to uninstall them.
I think what the message is saying that the drivers are not digitally signed my MS to work in XP. I haven't had a problem with any drivers when I just say continue with the installation.

I tried the 43.00 and 43.45 drivers. I uninstalled one time and didn't the other, but anyways, after 1 reboot all was fine, after another one everything was F*cked up all the colors were messy and couldn't even read any text. I have a GF2 GTS.... i'm sticking with the 41.00 drivers

I got the same message but installed anyway without any problems, the message just really means that the new drivers havent been put thru microsft for thier approval.
