Game Installation Help
I recently tried to install a game and something went wrong and I hit "End Task" on it and now it dissapeared, but it's still on the system.
When i try to install it again I get the message "Game is currently being installed" like it's still in the process of being installed. How can I completly clear this game off my computer and restart? |

Can you see the program in Add/ Remove Programs in the Control Panel?
Also, find the file it was being installed to and delete any of the stuff in that first. HTH |

If this is WinXP, just do a system restore.

I looked in the Add/Remove programs and it wasn't there. I looked for the file but wasn't exactly sure which one it is becuase I don't know where it went to.
Yes this is XP, how do I do a system restore, and what exactly does that do? |

It restores your system to an earlier date. Click Start - Programs - Accessories - System Tools - System Restore
Choose a date that was before you tinkered with it. You recently saved files won't be deleted or anything, but programs you've installed after the date will be uninstalled. |
