service pack
hello
i have been using xp for about 8 months ,i was just looking my settings and under service packs it says 0 ,does anyone recommend service packs ,which ones if any thanks |

There is only one XP service pack currently. I would install it as it fixes more than it breaks.

Agreed, you should install it, WinXP SP1 provides a lot of bug/security fixes.

Also get the "cumulative patch for SP1" immediately after.

Just a note: if you use Windows update, download the SP1a first b4 you download any other updates. In the page that dis0plays the dupdates it says also the SP1a needs to be downloaded separately.
Downoload it and intalll it, then poroceed to download hte rest of the patches once shte SP1a is happily installed ino your system.
