Daul Boot

I started installing windows 2000 on my computer but could not complete it due to hardware compatibility issue, now I have windows 2000 and windows 98 to choose from during boot-up.

How do I remove windows 2000 from showing during boot-up so that my computer can just go straight to windows 98?

Boot to a windows98 startup diskette.
at the A:\ prompt, type: fdisk /mbr
Again at the A:\ prompt, type: sys c:
Now you can delete all the Win2k boot stuff (boot.ini, ntldr, ntdetect.com)
You can also completeley delete the c:\winnt folder and all sub-folders.
