XP Question
OK soon I plan to get a new mobo and processor and memory. When I switch all of this am I going to have to reinstall XP or what?
All I have is the upgrade that upgrades to XP from ME and 98 ect. But the question is if I do have to reinstall can I reinstall completely from upgrade cd or will I need to purchase XP? Thanks ahead of time

If you do, you can do a complete reinstall with the upgrade cd. XP will ask for a copy of a previous OS. (ME.98,etc.

You Shouldn't have to reinstall Win XP Just Call M$ and get a new activation number.
It worked ok for me when I installed my new MOBO and CPU. |
