pro is best for me but i have a home network with 8 computers
so i like the security and stability of pro

I have both but I prefer Pro's security. It's mainly what you intend to do.
If you are just wanting to surf and use it as a family PC then the Home version will save some $$. HTH |

i have problem w/ pros, are there any updated xp pros?
some of my programs dont run in it... like adobe acrobat 5 and the millionaires game? but before i reformat my HDD its working..the same OS XP pro |

to make things clear...
im using XP pro then i decided to re format so i can delete unwanted files...much easier for me but when im done some of my programs wont run like acrobat, who wants to be a millionaire..etc... are all XP pro the same? maybe i got the earlier XP pro with lots of bugs... |

i dont want to make it sound stupid, but you do remeber that you have to reinstall each and every program there after a re-format and clean install of an OS, right?

LOLZ, im not that stupid..
![]() ive already re-installed XP.. the Millionaire game is working...but still acrobat wont..maybe its my installer...i tried installing acrobat 4 it worked...ill stick w/ it...then another problem...whenever i install/download directX 9 after downloading it will tell me that the program was not tested by XP..***!... |
