I'm tryind to install Asus prode but it says i need to find this kernel

atikacpi kernel

I put in a search but can't find it.Can you help me?

Where are you installing it from? If it's from your CD then you might want to try looking on the ASUS website to find another copy.

What model motherboard do you have?

Your system specs are eerily similar to mine, and I use ASUS Probe without incident. However, I am using Windows 98SE, and I have no idea if there is any conflict with XP.


Does anyone know of any conflicts?

I use it on an Asus P4PE with XP Home with no problems. Loaded it off the Asus cd and updated it from Asus site. No problems.
