What do you think of the new Windows Server 2003?
What are your opinions about it, those of you who have used it?
The OS now comes with two Recycle bins!!

Its cool the thing I like most is the folder shadow copy feature and the new version of iis. Also I like the fact that you can rename a domain. Other than that its windows 2000 server with a pretty face.

Not exactly two Recycle Bins. There's just the ordinary RB but I was referring to the new shadow folders feature that lets you undo the erasing of files and folders.

It supposedly has a far faster tcp/ip stack than xp or 2k/nt, thusly increasing networking performance. I am gonna try it in my game server to see if it lowers ping any.

And it runs very well. Loads of adminly features. Remember that you may have to enable certain services to get your app online. The game server couldn't get online without enabling auto connection manager and its attendant services.
Clean install, secure out of the box (as far as M$ goes), and doesn't take many resources as very few services are running. The optimised tcp/ip stack is under evaluation here, and will be for some time. It will be compared to the same equipment, but running Gentoo and XP Pro. So far, pretty good for a free state-of-the-art OS.....
