Windows 98 SE to ME -- Worth the Upgrade?
I was wondering, I've heard the ME is full of bugs and is not all the reliable, fact or myth? Is it worth to upgrade from Windows 98 SE to Windows ME?

Spend your money on Win 2000 or XP. Me isn't a big enough improvement to warrent the price.

In my opinion, ME is more unstable than 98SE.

I used ME before I got XP. I thought it was much better than 98.

ME can be OK for some. I build my Sister's machine with it, but she is a total newbie. I tried it and flat out didn't like it. I took it off and reinstalled Win 98.2. I had problems with drivers and playing games. Everything else worked OK, however.

If you got it for free then give it a try. I have ME and have had only minor problems. I find it more stable that 98se but thats just my experience. Has a few things that 98 doesnt have like Restore but thats the one thing I find is unstable in ME the Restore thing. Never works when you need it. but the rest of it is okay.

Are you happy with the way your system is performing? If you are, maybe you shouldn't mess with it.
