Printers folder closes by itself
Whenever I open my printers folder and try to right click on any of my printers to get properties or anything else it closes the folder. If I double click on a printer the printer opens but when I try to access the properties I get an exception error that states
"Function address 0x77c011c7 caused a protection fault. (exception code 0xc0000005) Some or all paoperty page(s) may not be displayed" This happens for all printers. Anyone seen this?? Thanks GeneC |

Sorry forgot to say which OS an all that stuff. OS is XP pro, in a dual boot system with 98. System uses fat32 and there is a GIG of ram. The printers I have installed are an epson777, HP laserjet 5L, and a print to fax driver. If there is a roundabout way of uninstalling all printers and starting over that would be great.

Try using add/remove progs and hardware, then arm yourself with the latest drivers and re-install the printers 1 at a time, making sure that all is well after each install.
