How many hard drives?
How many hard drives can you have on Windows? I have 2 IDE drives right now and was wondering if I could add another Firewire drive?
Does XP allow more? Thanks, Jeremy |

You can have 24 CD,Hard Drive and partitions on windows. As long as you only use the letters C to Z.

Unless you're on a LAN, then you can map drives by name, and have up to 255 (AFAIK), although in theory, there is no limit.

just remember, the more drives in a box the more heat you're creating in there. be sure you have adequate cooling...leaving space between drives also helps keep the fire down.
