Download glitch

When I try to install Download Q817287 - critical update I get the following:- "Catalog database corruption in Microsoft Windows XP." Everything seems to be working ok so what is wrong??

WORKAROUND

To work around this issue, follow these steps:
Click Start, click Run, type cmd, and then click OK.
At the command prompt, type the following command, and then press ENTER:

del /q "%SystemRoot%\System32\Catroot2\Edb.log

This command will force the catalog database to rebuild itself.
