Outlook 98 (?) Files???
Hi,
I am trying to copy files in DOS from a dying hard drive. I was wondering where the Outlook files are located, emails, address book, ect. This is for 98SE. Thanks. Last edited by Sauron; 05-29-2003 at 07:18 PM. |

Go into windows directory then application-identites-microsoft-office-outlook and something called inbox.dbl something like that and you can find your address book at the same place too. Sorry for the doubts that i caused.

Hi, the inbox.dbl works fine. But I can't find the address book. Any ideas what its called ? The other problem is, there is 15 megs of stuff in the sent folder, but I can't replace my Outlook folder (Windows 2000) with the Windows 98 one. The inbox works fine, is it because of the difference of versions? Thanks.

No, I am running Win 2000 on my own computer, the drive that I am trying to work with has Win 98 on it. But I can't get into Windows, so I am working with Dos, and I get a lot of data errors there as well.
Thanks for all of the help. |
