Tweak ui

I have downloaded Tweak ui 1.33 but can't get it to install in the control panel. I saved it to a folder on the desktop and unzipped it and it says it should be run from the control panel. Would you like to install it now? I click on yes but nothing happens. Running Win 2000 , 40 gig hd, 512 mb ddr . Thanks

Hi Edday,

Usually when you unzip to install Tweak UI it unzips to your temporary folder (c:\windows\temp or c:\documents and settings\YOURUSERNAME\Local Settings\Temp or c:\TEMP)

You will then need to go to that folder, right click on TweakUI.inf and click Install. Then the install process will run

If it still doesn't work, try restarting your computer (I'd try restarting now actually seeing as you've already tried to install it)

HTH, Thanks,

Jim

I did restart but no go. I do have it in the temp file but for some reason it won't install , must be a setting I'm overlooking. It installed on my win 98se just fine.

If you're running XP, look in Start->Programs and see if it's listed..
