Windows XP Pro Installation

Hello all,

I am encountering some difficulties when trying to install Windows XP Pro on a freshly build PC. THere are actually two problems but I beleive they are related.

First Problem
When I am doing an clean install of Windows XP Pro I am able to get to the last part of the installation. I am able to setup the setup files and I am also able to install the system files. The problem occurs when I reach the final setup after XP does the little graphics part when it ask me to Click next. The problem is the setup hangs but does not freeze up on me I am able to move my mouse but I am not allowed to press next. There are no text boxes that I have to fill in or do I have to make some kind of choice. I am not receiving any error messages what so ever It merely wont allow me to continue. When I reboot the machine I am able to to get to my desktop fine and dandy until....

Second Problem

This problem may be caused by the abortion of the install. After a while after a while my desktop graphics get all wierd. For example the start buttun on my taskbar is all blurry. When I click on the start menu and it raises the menu it is all white and I can not see the menu options. I can only see the option when I move my mouse around the menu bar then it will display the options. I havent ruled out the video card yet and did not test it on another machine yet.
