disk cloning
Hi GLC, you replied to my question last month when I had problems booting a cloned drive. Thanks by the way it worked. Will I have to remotely hack the registry of every computer I clone to get it to boot? I am using Acronis True Image at the moment because I couldn't get Ghost to work for me. I am trying to implement a disaster recovery plan for work and the clones are to be stored on cd/rws off site and be periodically updated. I think what I am asking is wether this is a windows problem or a shortcoming of True Image. Would using sysprep help the issue???
Thanks in advance |

I don't have those answers for you, sorry - I'm moving this into the NT/2K/XP forum.
