system tray help
Hey I have a small problem, but its something that has been bugging me for a while.
I have a laptop and for some reason the system tray icon for the power meter, i.e. the battery icon when unplugged or the plug icon when its plugged in, willl disappear when booted. However, when i go into the control panel, it's box is ticked (control panel > power options > advanced). If i untick it and redo it, it appears. But i want it to appear every time I boot windows. Does anyone know how i can fix this up? BTW, i am running win xp pro. TIA -Zeqe |

Right click the taskbar, select properties. Take the tick out of "hide inactive icons".

I don't know if that's the solution. I don't mean that the icon is hidden by that little arrow if its not been used. Its not even showing up in the system tray.
