Hey everyone.
I've noticed in my TEMP folder that there are a lot of files popping up. Ad-Aware 6 found some of them, and I've deleted those. But, there are others which seem a bit weird to me. Applications and 'cursors'....STRANGE. Is there any way of finding out which of these are bogus and which are actually being used by the system. I'm pretty suspicious of some of them. I'd like to be able to delete them, but I'm not sure which it's safe to delete. Is there any software which will allow me to know which I can delete? Also, is there any software which will search out any suspicious or dangerous files, which Norton Anti-virus 2003 and Ad-Aware 6 won't? Any help will be appreciated. |

Generally, you can delete it all. If something is in your temp directory, it is meant to be deleted. If a program keeps vital files in the temp directory, it is a very lousy program.
I always just delete it all and I never have any problems. |

Are you that strapped for space?
How big is your temp folder? Windows will take care of the temp folder, it should purge regularly. But, if you really want to, you can clear it manually or through "Disk Cleanup" |
