converting photocd to jpg

hi i need to convert 7 photo cd's of 100 photo's eatch to a more compact format (preferably jpeg)i could do this manually but am dreading the experience of 700 open, save as.....
the format the picture's have on the cd is *.pcd and all the picture's are in a single folder

is there anny software outthere that could do this an etire cd at the time or a group of files at the time.

anny ideas are welkom
