hp oem clutter

i remember reading a post where someone mentioned that someone else helped them remove the crap that comes with an hp oem os. its for a win 98 im not sure what info would be need about the os. i can delete and uninstall the stuff that i can see but i hear there is alot that are not really visable to the untrained eye. any help or direction to that other post?

Sometimes the specialized third-party Add/Remove Plus type of programs can give you better control over bundled software.

If you've deleted a lot that you couldn't find an item for in Add/Remove, you might want to do a run of RegClean 4.1 (the version that's updated for Win98) http://download.com.com/3000-2094-881470.html?tag=list
