Did you change anything?
Is your email working? If you answer no to these questions call AOL. AOL normally has decent customer service. I would not be afraid to call them, thats what you pay for. If you answer yes try reverting back to the way things were before they changed, determine what happened with the connection and use a differnt approach.

. . . and if AOL doesn't help you much, you can try uninstalling & reinstalling it. Can't hurt to scan for viruses, too. If you get to the Welcome AOL screen & can navigate within the private AOL network pages (those that aren't on the Internet, but are available only through the AOL Welcome screen menus and "Go" or "Keyword" boxes, then it might well be fixed by reinstalling the AOL. If neither the AOL network nor the Internet are available, you may have some trouble with your modem.
To make sure the modem tests OK, go to Start/Settings/Control Panel/ Modems ...and select your modem, then click on Diagnostics, then "More Info" - if it hangs, then you might want to uninstall and reinstall the modem as well. Best of luck . . . Gary |
