Desktop Icons

I have windows xp home edition, and just receintly my desktop icon text has become underlined. It's something that I just don't like to look at, but can't for the life of me figure out how to get rid of it. Any ideas would be very much appriciated.

Open "my computer", and click on Tools -> Folder Options. Check the "Double Click to open and Item" box.

N8, That did the trick. It's funny how much I don't know about this OS. I guess that I should read everything in all those programs. I have been in there a couple of times, but just couldn't remember how to do it. Thank you so much.
