Registry advice needed
Can someone recomend a good registry edit tool.
I had heard that regedit was good, but it dose not seem to be available for xp |

Regedit is in WinXp, did U use the run box and type regedit?? Try 'regedt32'.....

I have not tried that is it a utillity, or do you need to know how to read the registry code?

Yes it's the standard utility that comes with Windows. Yes you need to know what you're doing. One wrong click and you can render your pc useless.

RegEdt32 is the registry editor for newer versions of Windows. If you want a utility that acts as an easy-to-use front end for some registry tasks, like keeping track of startup programs and removing things from the uninstall list, try jv16 Power Tools.
