Unexpected Error Loading XP Pro, other drivers

While newly installing XP Pro, on a newly assembled system, then F6 to load the RAID drivers from a floppy the following error message appears:

File\winxp\fasttrx2k.sys caused an unexpected error (18) at line 2108 in D:\xpsp1\base\boot\setup\oem disk.c.

My interpretation is that a file on the floppy is creating a problem for XP. Anybody have a solution for this?

The system is reading the ram and the HDD.

In case you need it here are the specs for the system:

ASUS P4C800 (purchased as bundle) with 512 PC2700 RAM, 2.8 Mhz Intel, 2 WD 1200 HDD, (RAID 1) Pioneer DVD-RW, Lite on DVD.

Mount the drive as a standard IDE, install Windows, then move it over to the RAID array.

Thanks for the suggestions,

For those who may run up against the same problem, here is the solution.

In order to load the Promise RAID drivers one has to copy ALL the files in the appropriate Raid forder (in this case 378RAID).
Once that is done the XP installation continued.

My mistake was to fail to copy files that appeared unnecessary (like NT, Win 98, W2K). All the files in the correct folder must be copied to the floppy.

You guys were great to respond so quickly. I appreciate it.
