XP defraging
I was wondering when defraging in win XP whitch program is better Norton Speed Disk or the biult in defragger that comes with XP
|

I tend to use nortons but I found the best to be Voptxp which gives you a 30 day free trial then it costs about 40.00 if I'm not mistaken

i use the one with xp, but i suppose it is quicker with norton.(even though things like that clog up your pc)

It seems like the built in defragger don't finish totaly it still leaves gaps in the blue area
|

I found Diskeeper to be the best.

its ok as long as there is no red marks
red is fragmemted files not the blue |

Try out O & O Defrag Pro from http://www.oosoft.de/en/index.html. You maybe pleasantly surprised.

You be most welcome. It was one of my best friends long ago when i was still using NT 4.0, and it now supports XP.
