changing drive letter

Hello Don't know how I did it but I totally messed up my computer. tried using partition magic to add win ME to my system and wound up having to format and reinstall winXP. Now my winxp drive is labeled as my H drive. It gave my C label to another partition on my second hard drive. I was able to get my C drive back from my second drive but cannot put it in place of my "H" drive. It is not permitting it. The only operating system I have right now is winXP on the H drive. In the future I'll be asking how to add winME to my system but that will be for another day. Thanks

Thanks for the reply. I would like to keep my D drive for the dvd rom and make winMe a fat 32 and xp ntfs 'cause it is a rather large drive (have 2 80 gig drives) As long as I can boot to xp for my default I'll be happy. Just haven't a clue how to go about it Thanks
