Question I need it Parted ................

I was thinking about partitioning my c: drive.
one question I had in my mind was 'if i already have OS installed on C: drive and have 80% of free drivespace,

1) can i jus simply use FDISK and create extended dos partition? and then go and create logical drive? or do i need a empty disk in order to use fdisk and create partitions?

2) If it won't let me, wat is the best prg to use that will let me create a partition with a current OS onboard? (as is).

Thanks

Fdisk will wipe out your current C drive.
You could use it, and create any number of partitions, but then you'd have to reinstall Windows.
If you don't want to do that, the best tool is Partition Magic.
