Cool Problems with identities in Outlook Express

I am using a Dell laptop and Windows XP. I have Outlook Express installed, and it was working great with one identity.
I am using a Bell South DSL cable connection to the laptop.

When I tried to add another identity, I found that I could not receive e-mail (to my laptop / Outlook) for that other identity !!!

I am all set-up with Bell South for all of my e-mail addresses. That is, on my desktop I can receive e-mails with five identities added to the Outlook program. (My desktop uses Win 98SE.)

Can anyone guide me through this set-up ??? All I want to do is to be able to receive e-mail on only two identities (two different e-mail addresses).

Thank you. Please help.

You should just be able to create the identity, log onto the new identity and setup the account. Give us more info on what you have done.
