Win2000, cannot find the file.....

Hi there,
After a friend's PC picked up a virus and NAV2003 cleaned and removed it (auto) the following message comes up when starting Win2000:
"Cannot find the file C:\Winnt\System32\System32.exe or one of it's components"
if you then press enter, the PC continues to start up and then works normally ? this happens every time you startup or reboot, any ideas what causes this problem ?
Thanks in advance.

I don't know what caused your problem. However, the following fix is straightforward and may solve the problem. Search for the file system32.exe. After you find it copy it to the directory c:\winnt\system32.
