In 98se, you'd just go to settings/taskbar/start menu/advanced. There you could add new folders, drag-n-drop, etc.
How do you add new folders to the All Programs menu in XP?

Hmm, probably the easiest way to do this is to right click your actual start menu button, and at the bottom click "Explore All Users" which will bring up an explorer window.
Click File>New or Right Click and Choose New, then Folder. |

Well, that's fine. Basically it depends if you have more than 1 user on your computer, as XP is a multi-user operating system. The folders you made when you clicked Explore is not visible to all users, which is good I guess.

I didn't really create any in the Explore option, as that was the left side of the Start Menu. It keeps most recently used programs by particular user there I'm assuming.
I was trying to arrange that All Programs menu before it got outta hand as I install all of these things. Makes sense now! Thx again. |
