Exclamation Disk Check on boot

Hi all,

For some reason when I boot up my laptop machine, it shows the windows loading screen but then switches to disk checking (with the 10 sec countdown).

I've left disk checking to 'attempt' to complete a few times but it seems to hang at around 40%. Is there any way I can stop disk checking from 'launching' every time I boot.

As it stands at the moment, I have to wait until the disk checking coundown starts, so that I can press Esc and load windows.

Thanks in advance to anyone who can help.

Disable Autocheck from registry:

1. Click [Start] [Run] [Regedit.exe]
2. Get to this key:

Hkey_local_machine\System\CurrentControlSet\Control\Session Manager\ BootExecute:

Change its value to "Autocheck autochk *"
