Temporary Files

Is it safe to clear the contents of the C\Windows\Temp folder? My temp. folder is getting bigger and bigger and I was wondering if anything bad will happen if I just throw it all away?

Yes it is safe to empty it. If you have any doubts, send it to the Recycle Bin and save it there until you feel confident that nothing in there was needed.

Saying the same as not important, but a little different: Yes, but if you are not comfortable, you can burn the files to a CD RW, or a different directory to see if anything in the near future want something in there. Any program that puts stuff in there that they don't want deleted is not a well programmed program.
