Windows XP error message AsmiHwlo
I recently installed Windows XP on a P4 computer. Everything works fine under administrator.
I added one new user to the computer. When I log in as the new user, I got the dialog box AsmiHwlo with message "Can't open service control manager". After I clicked OK in the dialog box, I got another message "Can't create driver service". After I click OK, I got yet another message "Can't open driver service". After I click OK, I got a new dialog box AsGetDmi with message "Can't load AsmiHwIo.dll". After all these dialog box, I logged in as the new user without problem and so far things seems to work fine. What causes all these error messages? How can I get rid of all these annoying error messages?

i think you have the asus system prob instaled on your computer it monitors the motherboard temps and is set to run at start up but if your new account is not a admin account winxp wont let it run you can try instaling it in the new account or disabble it from starting in msconfig

You are absolutely correct. I have an ASUS motherboard and installed the ASUS motherboard probe software to monitor the CPU temperature.
After I removed the ASUS probe software, the error message disappeared when the new user signed in. Thanks.
