How to make all folders view as details?

Anyone know how to make all folders view the same? I want them viewed as details, and it seems to not remember what I want to do...
This is in xp, by the way.

Open an Explorer window > then go to view and select details, next go to tools >folder options > view and apply to all folders.

And while you are in the view menu on Folder options, check the button the allow you to see hidden files and file extensions. It will help to keep you from getting a virus.
